Plain markdown, on your own disk
Every note is a real .md file in a folder you own. No database, no proprietary block format, no export button to beg for. Open the same file in any editor, back it up however you like, and keep it long after any tool.
Edit the same note, at the same time
Two people in one note, with cursors and presence, merged keystroke by keystroke through a CRDT. No conflict dialog, no duplicated section, no lost work, and the file on disk stays the same file your assistant reads.
Your assistant reads and writes the same files
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to a vault. The assistant works in the same markdown your team is editing, so what it writes is immediately a teammate's note rather than a transcript trapped in a chat window.

Wikilinks between notes build a backlink index and a graph view as you write. It is a map of what your team actually references, not a diagram anyone had to maintain by hand.
Per-file Viewer and Editor access
Share a folder with the team and keep the hiring loop private, down to the individual file. Permissions travel with the vault, so a shared second brain does not mean everything is shared.
Checkpoints you can roll back to
A checkpoint captures the whole vault, every note's content and the folder structure together. One is taken automatically each day the vault changes and the five most recent are kept, or you can label your own before a big reorganisation. Reverting rolls every member's vault back and broadcasts the change live.
One vault per team or client
Separate vaults per team or client, each permissioned on its own, with classic folders and tags inside. Structure that still makes sense when the team doubles.
An assistant that tidies up, and asks first
Steward reads the vault and reports what it finds: broken wikilinks, notes drifting out of shape, structure that stopped matching how the team works. It proposes the edit and shows you the diff. Nothing is written until you accept it.
It runs on your own OpenRouter key, so you choose the model and pay the provider directly. Jev 1.13 from TypeSafe is the default.
